1. Go to Github.com and find the repository you want.

2. Select “https” as the retrieval method (it’s simpler!)

3. Copy the down load link

You’re Done with Github!

  1. Go to your local PC / Mac and open a command line (git needs to be installed on your local machine)
  2. Type:
git clone <pasted https url copied from github.com>

You're done pulling down a copy of the repository!

List the contents of your current directory, and you'll see a folder for your new repository.

Change into this directory and you can issue the "git pull" command to do a refresh check on any subsequent updates on github.
